Good food and attentive staff!  Beautiful restaurant with high ceiling. Waitress was very sweet and polite. We ordered the Arctic char crudo, octopus, duck breast and short ribs. Everything cooked to perfection!  Think they are renovating the front part of the restaurant for events. Beautiful place.

We were so excited to go here and we are not disappointed. The room is spectacular and u completely forget you are in a small town in NJ. Our waitress Bailey was a superstar. She knew the menu and was a pro. The food was excellent and the entire vibe of our night was perfect. Can't wait to go back

I have been to Felina on two occasions. service is great, attentive but not annoying with "how was your meal" every 10 minutes. Food is delicious and beautiful! the pizzetta bianca is a must share appetizer, easily feeds 4 unless there's a gluttonous eater at the tablecauliflower salad is a light and flavorful, nice texturesgnocchi dish was surprisingly tasty considering buckwheat is an odd ingredient for gnocchi but it worksMushroom lasagne was great as well but the gnocchi is more my cup of tea I'm sad to say I do not recommend the desserts not because they taste bad but the small size and steep price is not worth it. I had the tiramisu (used homemade cookie/cake? Instead of traditional Savoiardi cookies which did not absorb the coffee or mascarpone cream well, giving the tiramisu an odd crumbly texture also it didn't have a strong espresso flavor probably because the cookies didn't absorb any) moving onto the Nutella budino (=pudding) was way too small for $12 ( a tablespoon full of pudding served in a minuscule bowl).Though the desserts were disappointing next time I will give olive oil cake a try, sometimes we don't pick the right thing that fits our flavor palate.It's important to remember Felina is contemporary cuisine inspired by Italian/European classics, some dishes are unusual but taste fantastic and some should be made the good old traditional way (looking at you, tiramisu).The people I had dinner with had no complaints and enjoyed their meals. Reservations: they definitely manipulate the open table availability to appear more popular/exclusive but we called by phone and got a table even though the site said no reservations.

If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, mix it up on a weekend, or impress someone on a nice dinner, this is the spot for you. Food:I started off by ordering the octopus. I still dream about it! It was garnished with giardiniera, fried bread, onion ash, and a lime mayo. Usually octopus can get chewy if it's cooked for too long, this one was cooked just right and it was super tender. A great starter, wish there was more on the plate but it was good for an appetizer. For the main course I got the short ribs which came with celery root purée, pickled celery, and black radish. When I say this melted in my mouth, it MELTED IN MY MOUTH! So delicious and flavorful I finished the entire plate and almost licked it clean. I got the crispy potatoes on the side dusted with some grated cheese. I didn't need them but they were really nice to get with the short ribs. Super crispy and delicious! I'm a potato man so I loved it. Price:Octopus: $17.00Short Rib: $35.00Crispy Potatoes: $9.00Vibe: Wow does it feel elegant when you walk into Felina! Everyone is super curious and nice! The vibe is one that feels great. When at the table, they're very attentive if you need anything or if your cup needs to be refilled with water. Small touches like that really elevate the experience. When you sit down they even take your coat! This is a place I'll be going back to see because they really ensure you have a great time here. Definitely want a table near the kitchen next time so I can see it in action.

I came to Felina to celebrate my birthday and WOWWWWWW!!!! Best choice possible. The menu is so appetizing and was hard to chose from, so we ordered alot. The veal tartar, the romanesco cauliflower, the roasted beets, rosemary rigatoni, fried brussel sprouts, pesto carrots, and last but not least the best octopus that I had in my life. Very excessive but so worth it. Everything came out so flavorful, with a beautiful presentation.The service was great, from the bussers, to the servers, the beverage manager, and the service manager Beverly. They all were so attentive and checked on us reagularly to ensure our meal was perfect. And it was. Beverly was so sweet, she overheard that we were celebrating my birthday and surprised us with dessert at the end. So thoughtful and made my night that much more special. Will definitely come back and Felina is definitely my new favorite place in Ridgewood.

I'm so glad I finally made it to Felina. From the rich history decor (ask about how they've reused the steel from the bank) to the excellent and friendly service this place is perfect to truly enjoy a night out. You'll feel like and be treated like royalty. Luke, our bartender, was vivacious, captivating to watch and attentive. The manager, Bev, was so kind and even took time out of her busy to night to share the future plans for the restaurant - lots of exciting things to come to Felina! She went above and beyond and sent my mom and I desserts even though the kitchen was shutting down. I can't thank Felina enough for such a special night. I will definitely return again and am highly considering this place for my sister's wedding shower!!

Just ate here last weekend and loved it! Staff was attentive and friendly, and the owner was welcoming and came by our table and chatted with us for a few minutes. The food was great! I had the Mahi Mahi and my husband had the duck. I also really loved the Venetian Mai Tai. Definitely recommend!

It has to be really great or horribly bad for me to write a review. Fortunately last nights dinner at Felina was spectacular! Chef Bucco absolutely wowed our party of four, not an easy accomplishment as we are in the industry and have very high standards.The space: this is the old bank that FISH restaurant used to operate in but  was completely renovated . Frank Cretella's rich architectural design is full of reclaimed wood, funky lighting and of course the giant old bank vault and safety deposit boxes. The centerpiece is Bucco's state of the art, open kitchen. While we sipped our perfectly crafted  cocktails, made by an extremely competent bar staff, we watched the Chef run a flawless service. His kitchen crew is a well oiled machine, it doesn't look like they make many mistakes.The service: from the pleasant hostess, to the expert bar staff to the front and back waiters, service was on point, attentive and knowledgeable while not being overbearing or intrusive.  The place was packed and the servers were slammed, yet they managed to keep the pace of our 5 course meal, right on track. The food:  the menu is filled with old world Italian dishes that have Bucco's modern day touch, made with locally sourced ingredients. We started with Veal Tartare, fresh raw veal mixture served with crusty fried bread and a tasty olive mixture. The grilled octopus was very tender and had great flavor. The Prosciutto Di Parma is quickly flashed in the oven and paired with blood orange slices and pignoli nuts. And the last appetizer was a Warm Burrata served with pickled shallots & lentils. These 4 apps were a mix of powerful flavors and unique textures that were simply delicious. For a pasta course we had the light fluffy Buckwheat Gnocchi with pumpkin seeds & tiny cippolini onions. The Duck Bolognese was as flavorful a sauce as I have ever had, with a hazelnut gremolata, it reminded me of a dish I had in Bologna Italy. Last pasta dish we tried was the Mushroom Lasagna, made with paper thin sheets of pasta and layers of woodsy wild mushrooms ricotta and a touch of bechamel. Again the pastas were innovative and a fresh twist on the traditional. For entrees we had a Short Rib that melted off the bone and had hints of pickled celery. The Mahi  was flakey, moist and packed with flavor. We had great sides of baby carrots with pistachio nuts & meatballs with ricotta. The entrees were artfully presented and perfectly cooked. We finished this amazing dining experience with a nice homemade TiraMiSu  and expresso. Felina is surely going to take over the top spot on the north jersey fine dining scene. I highly recommend it.

The food is SO GOOD! We had the mushroom lasagna and the roasted chicken. Both dishes so tasty. I had a skinny margarita and it was delicious. They don't use the normal tequilas all the tequilas are different not the norm. A + for ambiance! The bar looked really happening too and it was a Tuesday night. This restaurant is a MUST GO!

I had a delicious meal here a few days ago on a Sunday.  What can I say?  It was totally worth the wait!  First off, the place from the outside is very inviting and stylish.  The front entrance is floor to ceiling windows looking into the warm and modern dining room.  The hanging lights over the bar area are a definite draw to come in if you are walking by outside.  We were greeted by a very friendly host who opened the door for me.  He politely guided me to my table, where I was sat at a table that was a partial booth with chairs on the other side.  I didn't sit in the chairs, but I sat in the booth part that was very spacious and comfy.  The tables are nice and big, and look like they might be reclaimed wood, but not too rustic, just the right amount polished.  The speaker was above us, but at a perfect volume so we could chat.We ordered several dishes, which were all delicious, but the best were the Octopus, which I would normally not want to eat, but it was seasoned and cooked perfectly.  The Pizza Bianca, the dough was fluffy but also just the right amount of crispy, and super yummy with unique flavors that worked.  Also the Creste de Gallo, if you like garlic and sausage, you will LOVE this dish.  I can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes and also see what else the might be adding to the menu since it seems like they will have rotating menu items depending on the season.The pace of the meal was perfect as well, not too fast and not too slow.  The prices were good for such a fine dining experience, range from about $22-$35.  Which is about seems about average, especially since they restaurant itself is such a great ambiance,with sleek and modern decor. The owners clearly they put a lot of time, effort and money into designing such a beautiful space for dining.Even though it was fine dining, it wasn't stuffy feeling.  The server brought us extra plates so we could share our meals, which we definitely wanted to!  It's also so warm, inviting and spacious, that you can feel comfortable bringing your children.  There is plenty of space for kids to sit, or roll up a stroller.  There was actually a couple children sitting behind us, and the family told us they also had a great experience.  I didn't order a drink or have desert, because I was so satisfied with my appetizers and main courses.  Next time I will save room!I took a trip downstairs to the bathrooms.  They are very spacious, smelled lovely, and warm and very clean.  They even had a basket of goodies with lotion and feminine products, so thoughtful!The open kitchen is also very cool to check out.  You can see all the cooks working hard making your delicious food!  Check out the pink brick oven pizza too, looks straight out of Italy!  Overall, it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to going back.  The management was very friendly, as were all the servers and bussers.  I definitely recommend trying this place. I know they are opening a wine bar downstairs and a rooftop bar in the summer, which I will definitely try both when they open!
